Review of Coco Cay. Reviewed May 10, 2016. we were there on a cruise with Royal Caribbean. We rented a cabana and I am so glad we did. It was shady and private and only steps away from everything else. We had a cooler with water and champagne delivered to us.

The cabana included snorkel gear (no fins). Two floating mats, the water slide into the ocean, over water hammock, towels, freshwater shower, safe, the same drinks and wifi package you have on the ship, and lots of bottles of water. Even with 8 of us we had plenty of room and shade and lots of seating options.
The Coco Beach Club is the only place on Perfect Day at CocoCay that serves coffee in the morning. If you hurried off the ship to get one of those day beds by the infinity pool, you will be happy to know there is coffee, tea and Danishes available to enjoy in the morning. There are a total of 20 floating cabanas, numbered 1-20, and you are assigned one once you get onto your sailing (we had booked the cabana about a year earlier.) Turns out, we were assigned the very cabana I was hoping to get. Cabana #10. Making the first walk out to the floating cabanas filled my heart with joy. This was a literal dream come true.

We were in Coco Cay for Christmas Day! The deluxe ocean view cabanas are worth the investment. Your own private stretch of sand and private swimming area.
